Mom's Art

When our mother (Nyla Maxine Booth Moore) and father (Homer Lee Moore) retired in the late 1970s, they moved to a property they had purchased in Dolan Springs, Arizona.  Dad built an A-frame building that became Moore's Ice Cream Parlor, and lived in a house trailer behind the business property.  At some point, Mom started a hobby of embroidering based on a Japanese thread art system.  She made at least 30 of these works of art that she gave to family friends.  She also get a small photo album showing the people who owned her art.  The purpose of this web page is to celebrate Mom's artwork and to collect photos of them in one place.  The family does not know how many of these were art.  If more are found, they will be added to the page.  [JAM 2/26/2021]
