Angels & Demons (Ron Howard) - 2009

Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles.  Tom Hanks can really solve those puzzles.  The Pope is dead and the Vatican really needs a new one but somebody wants to interrupt the process.  It appears that the Illuminati has returned with their 400-year grudge to get their revenge.  Director Howard makes a big mess in several Roman churches and the Italian police force seems to be no match for one left-handed gunman.  As reported, this movie was not really popular among Catholic religious leaders.  [JAM 5/15/2009]
