Alex Cross (Rob Cohen) - 2012

Tyler Perry has become an action hero and Matthew Fox has gone over to the dark side.  Both deserved a better script.  My wife told me that this movie was nothing like the James Patterson novels.  Author Patterson has no excuse for this since he was the producer and could call the shots.  It seems that Gen X and the download generation have a requisite amount of torture and extreme violence, with ample product placements - especially Cadillac, before they will attend a movie.  The serial villain has an unlimited supply of high-tech weapons and the ability to plot numerous intricate capers within a short period of time.  I thought that I was going to see a good detective story.  There is nothing much that is believable here.
