Mad #410 (Nick Meglin and John Ficarra) - Absolute Idiocy Issue - October 2001

Mad has a different look now with and colors and slick pages.  Dave Berg has even been colorized by Wildstorm.  But then on page 48, we get a dose of nostalgia for the black-and-white days with the stunning and wonderful drawings by Mort Drucker for the parody of A.I. Artificial Intelligence.  It would have been a shame to let Wildstorm do anything to Drucker's amazing artwork.  These four pages are another gift from the master.  Tom Richmond (the new kid on the block) crammed his movie parody ("Lotta Crotch: Bazoom Raider") with classic Mad running jokes.  I counted eleven on the double-splash-page: Spy vs. Spy, Arthur, Mad Zeppelin, Max Korn, black bomb, poiuyt, potrzebie, Flip, Ecch!, tic-tac-toe and Band-aids.  There are many other background jokes in there and Alfred E.
