Mad #384 (Nick Meglin and John Ficarra) - Bulging Man Issue - August 1999

The Scotts, Maiko and Bricher did it again with the eight-page, full-color parody of muscle magazines.  All you need to know about such magazines is written on the sixth page under "Saluting Your Efforts Towards a Better Mind and Body".  Also of note in this issue is a new record for the number of people shown vomiting in one double-splash-page by artist Tom Bunk.  Mad readers were also treated to a special appearance by actor Rebecca Romijn on the back cover.  And, for only the tenth time since 1957, Dave Berg was missing from an issue of Mad.
