Mad #144 (Albert Feldstein) - Shmoe Issue - July 1971

This issue has one of 16 articles written for Mad by Edward Nelson Bridwell (1931-1987) - "New Movie Monsters from the Medical World."  His articles generally dealt with monsters.  The early ones were wonderfully drawn by the great Wally Wood.  This one was drawn adequately by Jack Rickard.  Mr. Bridwell is better known as a writer for DC Comics including Batman and The Inferior Five.
