I had two requirements for our new house: 1. Central air conditioning and 2. Fireproof roof.  I got number 1.  But, as soon as we saved enough money, we replaced that shake roof.  There were several roof fires in the neighborhood during our first two years on San Gabriel Avenue.  It was accidental but we have some pretty good color coordination in this Christmas photo.  [JAM 6/12/2020]
