After boot camp in San Diego, I went to Millington, Tennessee for a navy school (Aviation Electronics "A").  After the school, I was assigned to VA125 training squadron in NAS Lemoore, CA.  On weekends I would drive home and live with my parents.  This photo was taken when I was playing pool with a navy & bowling friend, John Sharpe during one of those weekends.  I knew John from the Clark Center bowling leagues.  We met again in boot camp where he was a few weeks behind me.  John was also assigned to the "A" school in Tennessee.  After his schooling, John was assigned to a squadron in Whidbey Island, Washington.  [JAM 6/12/2020]
